Ayodhya Case: Muslim Litigant says Will back Ordinance For Ram Temple

Lucknow: Over an Ayodhya case a Muslim litigant said that he has no issue if the Ram temple is built by bypassing the Supreme Court and bringing in an ordinance. The muslim litigant known as Iqbal Ansari who said that if the Union government brought an ordinance for a Ram temple, he will not oppose it.

Iqbal Ansari said “ if the country would be happy in doing so, I am for it. If this brings peace and prosperity in the country, so be it, am ready.”

Hashim Ansari father of Iqbal Ansari was the lone litigant in the matter and despite contesting the case for decades, he often spoke of an easygoing settlement of the contentious issue. Since 1961, Mr. Ansari was associate with the Ayodhya title when he, along others, was named the main plaintiff in the lawsuit Sunni Central Waqf Board filled in the court of Faizabad civil judge.

At the age of 96 Hashim Ansari died in 2016.

Narrating the issue Iqbal Ansari pointed out that he was doing so as he was a law-persisting citizen. He added “ We want good of this country and if ordinance route is the way, I support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

Mr. Ansari also concern his voiced over the gathering of activists belonging to the Vishwa Hindi Parishad (VHP), Shiv Sena and  other organization in the temple town ahead of the November 25 “ Dharma Sabha”. He said that he had notify the district administration of his view point.

Further Mr. Ansari has said that recently express his apprehensions at the congregation and said the build up was like what it was prior to the demolition of Babri Mosque in 1992. He had also threatened to migrate from Ayodhya due to “ fear and feeling of insecurity”
