On Tuesday, a life-size portrait of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be unveiled in the Parliament House by the President of India, reports an official.
President Ram Nath Kovind will unwrap the portrait of Mr. Vajpayee in the Central Hall of Parliament House in the presence of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ministers and leaders of various parties are likely to mark their presence during the ceremony, said a parliament official.
Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister of India for the first time in 1996 for only 13-days, then from 1998 to 1999 for 13-months and then from 1999 to 2004.
Mr. Vajpayee took his last breath at the age of 93-years on August 16, 2018, after a prolonged illness.
