Today, a JCO (Junior Commissioned Officer) died apparently after suffering from a massive heart attack, while he was on duty near the LoC (Line of Control) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, reports police.

He was on duty at a post in Mankote sector’s Sonawali Gali when suddenly the JCO fell unconscious on today morning and died immediately after, they added.

The JCO was then lifted to a nearby hospital where he was declared been brought dead, he said adding that the dead body of the JCO was handed over to his department after all legal formalities.
