Amid Rajasthan Elections, Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ mocks at PM Modi - TNBCLive

On Tuesday, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his promise of offering employment to more than 2 crores youths during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

While addressing at an election rally, Mr. Gandhi wanted to know the reasons behind the suicidal attempt of four victims in Alwar district of Rajasthan.

During an election rally in Malakhera towns’ Alwar district, Mr. Gandhi said that “Narendra Modi in his election speeches in 2014 had said he would give jobs to 2 crore youths. If you gave employment, why did four youths commit suicide in Alwar?”

Three friends died and one was wounded after they accused of jumping before a moving train in a suspected suicide pact in last month in Alwar district of Rajasthan.

An initial investigation revealed that they were depressed out of unemployment, reports Police. The Congress Chief has also alleged the Prime Minister of India to file the coffers of an industrialist with public money.

He further said that “Modi says ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ in every speech, but he works for Anil Ambani. He should begin his address by saying ‘Anil Ambani ki Jai’, ‘Mehul Choksi ki Jai’, ‘Nirav Modi ki Ja’‘ ‘Lalit Modi ki Jai’.”

However, BJP has denied all the allegations.

Rajasthan will go to elections on December 7.
