Amarinder Singh On Amritsar Attack ISI Plotted, Grenade Made In Pakistan

Chandigarh: The Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said that the grenade used for Sunday attack a a prayer hall in Amritsar, which killed three people, that was made in Pakistan. The Chief Minister further added “ There is no communal case in this. This is a pure case of terrorism. ISI (Pakistan Intelligence Agency) is resorting to all these sort of things”

Mr. Singh revealed that the man who was involved in an attack has arrested, a hunt is on for others. The arrested man has been identified as Bikramjit Singh. “ A search for another accused Avtar Singh, is on”

At the Nirankari Bhawan at Amritsar Raja Sansi Village nearly 20 people were also injured as two on a bike, their faces covered,  threw a grenade, when the religious ceremony was on at the time.

As per the Eyewitnesses the men had threatened the devotees with a gun before flinging the explosive into the prayers hall.

As per the Police investigation the terrorist supporting the demand for Khalistan. Several people from Sikh separatist organisations were detained for questioning.

However, The Chief Minister believes that Pakistani intelligence agency ISI was behind the attack. He said “The mastermind of the attack is Pakistan ISI. Pakistan agenda is to disturb peace here.”
