Terrorists shot dead in an encounter

Two terrorists in an encounter in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir have been shot dead. The encounter took place between security personnel and terrorist outfit. However, a third terrorist, who was the part of the outfit is yet to be neutralized.

The cordon and search operation is being carried out by a team of Budgma Police, Rashtriya Rifles, and CRPF officials. The total under for now has been placed under cordon.


After the security personnel has launched a cordon and search operation, which followed information about the terrorist presence in the nearby areas, reports source.

The search operation, later on, turned into a gunfight after the terrorist outfit has opened fire on the security forces.  

However, no casualties have been reported yet so far in the encounter.
