A 16-years-old teenage girl was allegedly gang-raped and killed in Patwatoli locality in Bihar’s Gaya district. The disastrous incident reportedly has taken place on January 12.

The mutilated body of the minor was found a few metres away from her residential plot.

Magadh Range Deputy Inspector General Vinay Kumar said about the incident that “a detailed investigation will be done based on all inputs. Everything is being verified. We will uncover the truth soon.”

This incident took place just days after a decomposed body of a 16-years-old girl was found in Gaya on January 6. The victim was found beheaded with her face burn with acid and deep gashes on her chest. The victim’s family has accused that she was brutally raped.

The incident has sparked public anger and led to massive protests over a perceived delay in police action.
