Today, Police issued a “high alert” across Gujarat after India has carried out “non-military, pre-emptive air strikes” on terror camps across Line of Control at 3:30 am to target the terror outfit, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

A message from Director General of Gujarat Police, Shivanand Jha said that “in view of the action on terrorists across the border by IAF, all establishments have been put on high alert.”

India hits the biggest camp of JeM and a “very large number” of terrorists were eliminated, claims the Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale.

Today’s operation was described as “non-military, pre-emptive air strikes” was welcomed by the military experts and entire political spectrum, who had been advocating actions after February 14’s deadly terror attack in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which over 40 CRPF jawans have lost their lives.
