On Monday, grenade attack took place in Srinagar, which resulted in one dead and fifteen severely injured, said police. This was reported weeks after fifteen civilians were wounded in a similar grenade attack by terrorists in North Kashmir’s Sopore Town.

All those who were wounded in today’s blast at a vegetable market in Hari Singh High Street, located in the heart of the city, have been immediately lifted to the hospital and conditions of some of them are alleged to be critical. The grenade attack took place at 1:20 PM, said sources.

After the brutal attack, the market place has been cordoned off.

It is recorded the third grenade attack in Jammu and Kashmir in the last ten-days.
