Today, Delhi Court has issued a fresh summons against UK national Christian Michel’s business partner David John Syms. Christian Michel is an accused middleman in AgustaWestland VVIP Chopper scam.
Special Judge Arvind Kumar has summoned Mr. Syms, who is named as a convict in the supplementary charge sheet, to appear before the Court in Delhi.
A charge sheet was registered against Syms and two firms – Global Traders and global services FZE. Michel and Syms are both the directors of the two firms. On December 22, 2018, Michel was detained by the Enforcement Directorate after his extradition from Dubai.
Michel is among the three reported middlemen being investigated in the chopper scam by the Enforcement Directorate and the CBI. The other two accused are Guido Haschke and Carlo Gerosa.
