Congress leader Udit Raj has alleged that the BJP wants “deaf and dumb” dalits. Recently, he had quit the centre-ruling party after he was denied ticket to contest in the ongoing National Elections.
Termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP Government as “anti-backward class” and “anti-Dalit”, Mr. Raj said that BJP wants Dalits, who are “deaf and dumb” but doesn’t want a Dalit leader, who can raise his voice.
Mr. Raj had joined Congress after he quits BJP, told reporters at Congress party office that “if Dalits want to lead a respectful and dignified life, then they should vote for Congress, RJD and allies,” adding that “if any Dalit votes for BJP, then he/she will be jeopardizing lives of their future generations.”
Mr. Raj is a sitting MP from North-West Delhi Constituency.
The Congress leader further claims that BJP has nominated Ram Nath Kovind to the President’s post as he didn’t raise voice in the party but Udit Raj spoke against BJP Government even in the Parliament.
Mr. Raj further alleged that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Government in Bihar is much “anti-dalit” as PM Modi Government at the Centre.
