Enforcement Directorate has summoned Congress National Chief Rahul Gandhi brother-in-law Robert Vadra to appear before the probe agency on June 4, alleged of having linked with a land grabbing case.
Mr. Vadra has been summoned for interrogation in cases related to reported land grab in Delhi NCR, Bikaner, and properties abroad.
On May 30, Mr. Vadra had appeared before the probe agency for interrogation in the same case. He had also stated that he will comply with all summons by the ED until his name is cleared of “false allegations”.
Mr. Vadra stated in a Facebook post, “Till date, I have deposed 11 times with questioning of approximately 70 hours. In the future also, I will cooperate as always, till my name is cleared of all false allegations and accusations. I maintain my belief in the Indian judiciary is unshakeable I have and will adhere to all summons/norms of the government agencies.”
On May 24, the probe agency had asked the Delhi High Court for custodial interrogation of suspect Robert Vadra asking him about the fund sources, which he used for purchasing of London-based property amounted to 1.9 million pounds and determined the role of certain other people who reportedly helped him in the money laundering scam.
