On Thursday, Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has promised to set-up a separate ministry for fishermen, if his party is voted to power in the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections, claims unlike PM Modi, who he accused had made “fake promises”.

Today, Mr. Gandhi was addressing the National Fishermen Parliament, which was organized in Thriprayar by All India Fishermen Congres.

He claims that “My commitment to you is that the moment we win the 2019 elections, all the fishermen of the country will get their own dedicated ministry in Delhi.”

Assures that fishermen that he would fulfill the promise if Congress voted to power, Mr. Gandhi claims, “I am not like Narendra Modi. I don’t make fake promises.”

“Please look at my speeches. When I say something, I only say it because I have decided to do it,” added the Congress Chief.
