Today, a court in Delhi has asked for a response from Tihar Jail authorities on the Enforcement Directorate’s petition to interrogate Christian Michel, inside the jail. Mr. Michel was detained by the ED in AgustaWestland Chopper case in December 2018 after he was extradited from Dubai.

The Tihar Jail authorities have been asked to submit their consent by tomorrow.

Special Judge Arvind Kumar has also issued a production warrant against Christian Michel after his lawyer reportedly mental tortured him inside the jail.

Earlier, Delhi Court had reprimanded jail authorities for failing to explain the shifting of Michel to high-security prison isolation, said it will start the investigation if it does not get any reply.

Christian Michel is among the three accused middlemen being investigated by the ED and CBI in the VVIP Chopper case.
