On Sunday, BJP President Amit Shah will share a booth management formula to more than 12,000 booth in-charge of Delhi BJP-unit at the city’s Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in the run-up to forthcoming 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.
Booth in-charges are issued with specific bar-coded identity cards to ensure that they participate in the event without fail, reports a BJP leader.
In total there are 13,816 polling booths across the state and so far more than 12,000 booth in-charges have sought appointment by the party.
The district and lower level booth in-charges meetings of the party has been organized by BJP. However, it is for the first time that a state-level interaction between Amit Shah and booth in-charges is being held, reports Delhi’s head of booth management department Dharambir Singh.
Mr. Singh continued, “The booth in-charges will also be given a chance to put across their suggestions before the party President during the interaction.”
BJP will ensure that all booth Presidents surely attend the event. The bar-coded identity cards with attached photographs will be scanned as they event the hall to attend the event at IGI Stadium.
Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari and other senior party leaders will also take part in the interactive session organized by Amit Shah.
BJP holds all seven Lok Sabha seats, including North East Delhi Constituency represented by Mr. Tiwari, which it is geared-up to retain in forthcoming 2019 General Elections.
