Opposition leaders in the Delhi Assembly, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Vijender Gupta have shared a friendly evening at an Iftar party hosted by the Delhi Government, unlike their usual relationship inside the House.

Mr. Gupta not only offered food to CM Kejriwal but the two also shared light memories together.

Another BJP lawmaker OP Sharma has also participated in the Iftar party. However, Congress was again missing from the event, similar to the last year.

Mr. Gupta claims that the event was just a get together and it has no connection with politics. He was quoted saying, “I have told Kejriwal a lot of times that for the people of Delhi, we should not get involved in argument and should work together for the city.”

Among those who participated in the Iftar party were Minister Imran Hussain, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, AAP leader Sanjay Singh and several party lawmakers.
