On Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asked people to defeat Congress and BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections so that the nation can move ahead on the development front.

While addressing a public rally in Chandigarh, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Mr. Kejriwal said, “In the last 70 years, these two parties (Congress and BJP) have ruled this country and have just filled their coffers. They have done nothing else.”

Urges the people of the state to elect AAP candidate Harmohan Dhawan, who is a former MP from Chandigarh and ex-Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, CM Kejriwal assures that the AAP will bring changes in Chandigarh like the way it brought in Delhi on the sector of health and education.

Mocks at Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher, the Delhi Chief Minister said that she was an “actress from Mumbai” and was never reachable to the people of Chandigarh.

CM Kejriwal said “She only does films. That is where she earns her money. The people of Chandigarh have been cheated. She comes very less here and does not meet people. She comes very less in Parliament too and does not speak at all,” adding that Ms. Kher wanted to become an MP from Chandigarh, amid to earn status.

Other than CM Kejriwal, the public rally was also addressed by rival BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha, who has sought votes from Chandigarh’s electorate for Mr. Dhawan (AAP candidate).

Mr. Sinha continued, “Thank god that ‘Mann ki Baat’ (Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio speech) has ended today. Now we can do ‘Dil Ki Baat’. Change is the rule of our lives. Let’s move ahead in a new and the right direction with AAP.”
