Over 30 terrorists and wanted criminals were shifted to Agra from the prison in Kashmir Valley, reported sources. The separatists and terrorists were shifted in a special flight offered by Indian Air Force, claims the sources.
The prisoners have been kept in high alert barracks in Agra Central Jail, said the reports.
Kashmiri prisoners were shifted as the central government has decided to ease a 5-day security lockdown since August 4, several parts of the state have to avoid any backlash over the announcement of the government of eliminate “special status” to Jammu and Kashmir, and dismantle the state into two separate Union Territories.
More than 40000 security jawans have been posted in Kashmir and 300 political and influential leaders are kept under house arrest, including former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and Mehbooba Mufti.
Today, Jammu and Kashmir Administration has asked all government employees to return to work on an immediate note, as per the inputs of an official spokesman.
An order reads that the state administration had made arrangement to offer employees with a secure and flexible working environment.
