YSR Congress Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy owns assets of around Rs. 375 crores but does not own a car.

On Friday, he has declared his assets while filing nomination from Pulivendula Assembly Constituency in Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa district.

Mr. Reddy’s movable assets were evaluated more than Rs. 339 crore, while immovable assets amounted around Rs. 35 crores.

In 2014, while filing nomination from Pulivendula Assembly Constituency, he had declared total assets worth Rs. 343 crore.

The assets of Mr. Reddy’s wife YS Bharathi Reddy, who is a businesswoman, have also gone up at Rs. 124 crores against Rs. 71 crore assets in 2014. It also includes immovable assets and movable assets of Rs. 31 crore and Rs. 92 crore respectively. Mr. Reddy’s two daughters together have assets of Rs. 11 crore as well.

His son, a former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy also declared that he owns no car. YS Rajasekhara Reddy had submitted in the affidavit that the 4 bulletproof cars were registered in his name, but owned by others.

41-year-old Mr. Reddy declared that his total investments were Rs. 317 crore while his wife’s investments were Rs. 62 crore as well.

He has also announced his engagement in public service and politics, showed his income during 2017-18 as Rs. 25.89 crore against the previous years’ Rs. 2.90 crore income.

YS Jaganmohan Reddy also owns commercial building amount Rs. 14.46 crore, non-agricultural land of Rs. 8.42 crore and a residential property valued Rs. 12 crore in Hyderabad. He further has some liabilities of Rs. 1.19 crore, which is in the form of Income Tax to worth Rs. 66.68 crore was under dispute. Mrs. Reddy also had Rs. 6.75 crore liabilities under dispute.

Mr. Reddy had mentioned about 31 criminal cases, which are pending against him including cases registered by Enforcement Directorate (ED), and CBI under Prevention of Corruption and Act Money Laundering Act among others.

However, he was not found guilty in any of the cases.
