On Sunday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has accused that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, YSR Congress Chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao are conspiring to counter the development of Andhra Pradesh.
While addressing a meeting that was arranged to greet former Union Minister Kishore Chandra Deo into the TDP fold, CM Naidu dared Mr. Rao and PM Modi to compete with him on development. He further claims that the Prime Minister should only visit the state after fulfilling the commitments made to Andhra Pradesh.
CM Naidu also asked people of the state to raise their voice against the Prime Minister for going back on his words and targeting TDP leaders fighting for justice to the state.
He also accused that PM Modi was misusing the CBI, Income Tax department, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against those, who are showing protest for the right to the state.
The Prime Minister was going soft on Jaganmohan Reddy, although 11 charge sheets were registered against him for corruption of Rs. 43000 crore, CM Naidu said that “When Modi became Prime Minister he promised to be harsh on the corrupt, but he is shielding them.”
The TDP Chief further accused KCR, who he claims did not want development of Andhra Pradesh as he failed to ensure the development of Telangana irrespective of being a revenue surplus state.
Recalls the period that he developed Hyderabad as the Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, CM Naidu said that the city was still behind Ahmedabad.
On KCR’s son and TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) working Chief K.T. Rama Rao’s forecast that Mr. Reddy will become next Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, CM Naidu said that they will not succeed in their dream till “I am the Chief Minister.”
CM Naidu further alleged KCR of targeting businessman of Andhra Pradesh in Hyderabad to influencing them to support Jaganmohan Reddy in the forthcoming elections.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister also warned the YSR Congress leader against spreading of disharmony in his state in the name of community and castes.
N. Chandrababu Naidu claims that Prashant Kishor was acting as Mr. Reddy’s consultant, who was trying hard to transform Andhra Pradesh into another undeveloped state, Bihar.
