On Thursday, Congress has released the list of candidates, contesting for 45 Assembly Constituencies and three Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.

Out of total 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, the grand old party had announced earlier candidates for 22-seats. In the remaining three Lok Sabha seats, Congress is fielding N Narasimha Rao from Vijayawada, Ramana Kumari Pedada from Visakhapatnam, and J Lakshmi Narasimha Yadav from Nandyal Lok Sabha constituencies.

Election in Andhra Pradesh will be held on April 11. Both the legislative assembly and Lok Sabha Elections will be held simultaneously in the state on this day. Results will be declared on May 23.

Notably, this is the first election scheduled after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
