On Saturday, seven people died and four others were severely wounded when a vehicle crashed with two SUVs due to heavy fog in Haryana on the Ambala-Chandigarh National Highway, reports Haryana Police.
They continued that “Two cars coming from Chandigarh were hit by another vehicle. The accident took place as there were heavy fog and limited visibility. The injured people have been hospitalized.”
All those who died in the road accident were Chandigarh’s resident.
Earlier the week, eight people died when a dense fog led massive 50-vehicle traffic up on the National Highway in Jhajjar district of Haryana.
