After his recent ‘encounter’ with popular Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, Shashi Tharoor at a hotel in Kerala’s Munnar has amused many with a social media post. Over 2-D version of the megastar.

The Congress lawmaker and ex-Union Minister Shashi Tharoor were visiting the picturesque hill town of Munnar when he found himself in what he has termed as a “shrine” to SRK at a hotel. Almost 6-years ago, Mr. Khan had stayed in the same room, so the staffs of the hotel apparently want to preserve the memory for posterity.

“No place for rest”, claims Shashi Tharoor at Hotel’s SRK ‘Shrine’ in Munnar |

Shashi Tharoor’s post has drawn over thousands of likes.

SRK’s ‘shrine’ was set-up apparently after his visit to the state in 2013 for the shooting of the blockbuster movie Chennai Express.

Big posters of the film covering a whole wall have offered the clue of SRK’s visit. Mr. Tharoor also posted various photos taken inside the room with the memory of the popular Bollywood actor.

The politician also remarked in the post, “no place for rest”. Many would sympathize with his feelings unless a die-hard fan of SRK.
