The Aroha Junior choir is eager to participate in the prestigious 71 st Choral competition in United Kingdom’s Llangollen in July but all depends whether they can gear up the necessary amount of funds needed to send their team to the UK.

It is said that music flows through the vein of each and every Meghalaya and the same is believed and acknowledged widely based on the time to time emergence of world-class musical talents from the “abode of clouds” who often claim center stage in many performing platforms.

So now is the time for the famous and celebrated Aroha Choir’s junior groups to pounce into the international arena after Shillong Chamber Choir was acclaimed globally winning the heart of many.

The members of the Aroha Choirs are all based in Shillong and are ably guided by Pauline Wajir, having performed in front of presidents and prime ministers the junior members of this group also completed their London College of Music exams with distinction last year.
