On Sunday, a court in Kerala has sent Prashant Narayanan to judicial custody, accused in a cheating scam, said a police officer. 

According to Kerala Police, Bollywood Actor Prashant Narayanan was featured in the movie “Murder 2”, was accused under IPC Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), and 420 (cheating).

Mr. Narayanan is currently lodged in Thalassery Jail. He along with his wife was detained by Kerala Police on September 4. 

The arrest was made after a film producer has lodged a case against Mr. Narayanan for reportedly cheating him of Rs. 1.20 Crore, reports Kerala Police.
