A video has gone viral on social media showing Maharashtra BJP president and Jalna MP Raosaheb Danve telling a public meeting that he would give money to the voters so that they select him again.
Addressing the rally on March 2, he quoted, “I will give you money to support me in the election… My opponents do not have money…. Will you support me?” The Maharashtra BJP president and MP Raosaheb Danve was telling the public that all the thieves have united against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and him.
“All thieves are now united against Prime Minister Narendra Modi while in Jalna, too, thieves have ganged up against me,” he remarked.
It was declared recently by local MLA and Shiv Sena minister Arjun Khotkar that he would stand against Raosaheb Danve to break the “arrogance” of the BJP. Mr. Danve made this remark in the midst of the attempt of his party to dissuade Arjun Khotkar from against the state BJP chief.
For the upcoming Lok Sabha and Maharashtra assembly, both parties had decided a seat-sharing deal. The state polls are due in the second half of 2019. On Monday, BJP minister Subhash Deshmukh held a meeting with Mr. Khotkar and Mr. Danve to solve the issues in between them. Raosaheb Danve has been the winner of the Jalna Lok Sabha seat since 1999.
