Hindustan Unilever Ltd has reported a 19.5% rise in its September quarter of profit, which beats the estimate made by the analysts, as sales rate of its home-care segment jumped a great high. Within three months, profit of the company rose to $207.08 million (Rs. 1525 crore) ended on 30th September, which is compared to that of a year earlier at Rs. 1276 crore, in a statement stated the company.

According to the I/B/E/S date, on average analysts had expected a profit of Rs. 1437 crore for Hindustan Unilever.

Revenue incurred from the Mumbai-headquartered company’s home-car segment that includes brands such as Surf Excel and Vim rose by 12.4% to Rs. 3080 crore.

At present, 1 Dollar equal to Rs. 74.6425 Indian Rupee.
