Today, the Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram have credited the Finance Ministers of his party in six states for sorting out “the mess”, which was created by the central government on implementation of GST in the country.

Taking to Twitter, Mr. Chidambaram lauded the efforts of the six Congress Finance Minister who actively assisted the GST Council.

He said, “GST Council is sorting out the mess created by the government, thanks to the active participation and wise advice of six Congress State Finance Ministers.”

“Decisions taken yesterday were large because of the initiative taken by the Congress finance ministers,” Tweeted the former Finance Minister.

Mr. Chidambaram further said that the MEME sector has got some relief, “Thanks to the role played by the Congress finance ministers.”
