Tapi Pannu’s “Country” portrays the condition of Muslim in India

Tapi Pannu’s upcoming movie highlights a story of a Muslim family, who is suspected as a terrorist conspiracy. Currently, during the launch of the movie trailer, Tapi made a big statement regarding the situation of Muslims in India, which is completely shocking and emotional. He even exclaimed himself being a part of the film.

Disappointment about always seeing Muslims on target…

Referring to the country’s political situation and always targeting the Muslims, Pannu exclaimed, “It is quite disappointing, I give you an example from my own life. My manager, my driver, people working in my house is all Muslims.” He continued, “My life runs there only. It is frustrating to see a particular community becoming a target this way.”

Reasons behind few scenes uncut in the movie…

Tapi said that he dislikes people always creating decimation against the Muslim community. He is also a significant part of the upcoming movie. According to Tapi, “This (discrimination) was a big reason for me to film. I think if anyone has to raise voice for it, then I would like to be in that person. ”

Anubhav Sinha took the privilege to direct this film of Tapi, which is based on Mulk court proceedings. Bollywood actors like Rajat Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Neena Gupta and Ashutosh Rana played the lead roles in the film. This movie named Country will be released on August 3, just a few days before Independence Day.
